Bashful, Pensive, Unsure, Talented, Commited.
The wrong guy, in the wrong place.
Searis, Sear for those who know him well, is basically a sweetheart.
Born as prince of pirates, son to Imperator Ehriz the Kingsley, his duties and the responsibilities placed on him are exhausting to even list.
Pushed around since he was a child while not being able to live up to expectations of his father and the pirate noble court, have made him shy and lonely.
Sear's quick to run away and avoid confrontation. Even as prince of so many people, he can't look at you in the eye without wanting to leave.
Ehrlen's displease with him has become evident, and has parted from him. Leaving him behind in the port town of Roussellena under the care of his aunt, Lady Lylia Vlantzka.
Sear's guilt about making his father leave him has depressed him dearly. To the point where Sear would just wish to stop existing. And dreaming about falling from the skies an vanishing into nothing so his pain would go away.
Sear's coward nature darkens his soul as he seems to be unable to get anything done right. Constantly failing his appointed tasks.
Until, one day he meets another youngster like himself.
Powerful, mighty, determined and brave like he never seen, other than his father.
But he's different. He doesn't empower these virtues with conceitedness and superiority. But with a true sense of friendship and a taste for healthy rivalry.
Sear quickly grows fond of this boy and admires his wild and pure spirit. His name, Adre der Vahlen.
Adre likes Sear for his honesty and calmness. Adre can get to relax and worry less about his perilous lifestyle when he's around Searis, while on the other hand, Sear grows in determination and confidence around Adre.
In time, they become inseparable when Adre is recruited by Ehriz, who is utterly pleased with the effect on Sear.
Sear vows to become a great pilot like Adre one day and hold the name of the House of Byron up high.
But little he knows that the events that will unfold regarding his father, Adre and Searis' true identity, will shatter that newly found confidence and perhaps, twist his mind piece for the worst.
